Here’s my question if you go to play pve then what about scamming areas with foundations and pillars why don’t wildcard just give a tribe a land claim token or flag that each tribe is only allowed to have a certain area unless they upgrade that land marker?

I must say having an opposing pve force sounds so much fun!! I’m a pve main on official pc, that one new addition has changed my mind on how the game will turn out. I think the changes they have made are for the better even if the game is held back till late 2023 or early 2024. I myself would prefer it released early 2024 so they have the time to fix issues and keep up with ark1 updates

that rex model won’t do well on consoles. the mesh reduction levels that kick in as you get farther away will be noticeable and ruin how good it looks. tho if they start manually setting limits on what the mesh reductions mess with that would be a massive visual improvement.

The more I think about the 3rd person aspect, the more I actually think I might like it! I love Assassin’s Creed, and, if they can pull that sort of Parkour-style movement, I could actually like it! I’ve never played Souls, so I have no idea, but skill affecting my ability to survive sounds like a better idea than random button mashing, hoping for a fast enough swing… The two parts I’m REALLY excited about are the customization, and the real world events. But, having experience early game with Purlovias, and mid game with Thylacoleos, I’m also a bit worried!

I see something on the Rex’s left arm. It looks like it got broken off but the tamer make a fake arm. Because there is a gap on it.

Keep saying tek isn’t in the game but I think this is proving that tek is going to make a come back no matter what the community says that’s definitely a tek saddle I think they are going to make the tek more readily available to everyone and not just big tribe or people that pay for boss fights so people actually have a fighting chance not just the top tier tribes with 100+ people

I can’t help but feel like the only reason to restrict a game to 3rd person is so they can sell you skins.
Other than that, this game sounds amazing.

It could be just armour upgrades actually showing a difference from Primitive to Ascension armour instead of them just looking the same no matter what type it is when collecting blueprints. It’s great idea I must say.

I like gears of War but hate 3rd person view. Now I stop playing it. I love ark but hate 3rd person. Guess like me a few people will play for a month or two and then put it down all due to 3rd person view. Hope wild card is ready to see players stay on ark 1 and only play ark2 for a month or two. Then buy ark1 on pc for mods. Ark 2 is only going to play for the story line then just like gears of War they will be shutting down servers due to the lack of players.
