Not gonna lie , my dissapointment is immeasurable I knew that it was very unlikely to put Yor as an actual character but I hoped at least things like stages (Anya school , The Castle of the Yor vs Loid Fight even the cruise of Yor arc) or maybe some skins for some characters , even if they weren’t my mains. But just costumes , not even customizable for the Avatar and features only for World Tour/ Hub ; I know there can be people who likes this kind of content but it feels lazy . Just an example , GBFVR previous week showed 2B as guest character it was probably hard even for Arc sys to get it but people are excited over it and this is CAPCOM , one of the biggest of the industry so more complex things were possible. Its sad that SF6 its giving dissapointments so often: the costumes pricing , balance patch PER YEAR , DLC slow delivering , no communication from in-game development , etc.

it’s really sad capcom. as a big ninja turtles and spy family fan it feels weird to me, to not spend any money on those crossovers. i would have easily spent like 20€ on every crossover, for guest characters, for music, for properly made skins, but really not for overpriced avatar skins, you kinda should get for free after buying a real skin…
avatar battles are not the main part of the game. they are fun from time to time, but it’s really not what the majority of the playerbase wants to play longterm. especially when you kinda have to finish world tour mode, to have a usable avatar for it anyways. world tour is the mode, casuals play the game for. those casuals most likely drop the game after like 0-100 online battles (avatar battles included) anyways and you know exactly that. the core playerbase on the other hand, barely touches world tour and avatar battles even less so. just give us something as well. it really is not much to ask for.

Having the historic monument of a fighting game, capcom tries so hard to look hip and cool while missing the mark.
As if Street Fighter needed guest characters and collabs with anything but Capcom titles to stay popular and compete for players’ attention.
I remember when I first decided to purchase a set of character costumes “Femme fatale halloween pack” for USF4, and how I payed about 200 RUB to get 8 skins for 4 characters. Now it’s like “pay a price of 2-3 great indie games to get an out of place skin from random not very fresh franchise that will be forgotten by almost everybody in 6 months, and the skin isn’t even for playable character”.
The only thing I’m glad about is that this collab won’t spoil the contents of the actual game. It will only delay the development of new characters, updates, original skins, arenas, music and balance patches. Don’t care about what casual players do in the online hub because there’s no connection quality and wifi indication there.

Avatar skins are nice but I -really- would rather have it on an actual character

I’m honestly shocked is not just a Chunners costume with the way it got advertised (also, confusing is that y’all didn’t advertise the Lloyd costume until now).
It would have been nice if it was character costumes tho.

I just want you guys to know that these collaboration are super freaking lame. Make this a COSTUME for a playable character, not some overpriced avatar garbage. SF6 had one of the best launch ever for a fighting game and now its going down in flames by having the worst post-launch strategy in recent memory. It’s not too late to fix things Capcom…

Capcom nobody cares about battle hub avatars. Just give us new characters and costumes for the roster.

So I really did like the idea of the avatar feature being a way to let people have all the silly things in the game without putting a bunch of ridiculous out of place outfits on official characters like SFV did, but it really is a shame the actual characters are missing so much potential

If they just let avatars play with any other characters fighting style like they do in Soul Caliber and you could play online ranked with them that would be dope (as long as it tells the other person somewhere on the vs screen who’s style they’re using). OR at the very least they should make colab characters skins for existing people, like making sure it matches well enough to be an alternate for Chun Li.

Let’s hope the modders give us what we really want, not this overpriced garbage for the avatars.

Mk 1 collabs: New character to the roaster, new set of moves, really accurate skin

Street fighter 6 collabs: a literal avatar, no new character, no new set of movements, overprice, worst posible texture for the skin, a mod could replicate it in less than an hour
